Clean water – concentrated sludge

The waste water flows out of the finishing unit into the concentration chamber of the microfiltration unit. An innovative filtration system extracts all solid particles ≥ 0.2 µm from the waste water, so that they can be collected in removable trays in the form of concentrated sludge.

The filtered water/compound mixture the flows into the clean water tank and from there it is pumped back to the finishing unit. This enables the mixture to be used for several weeks.

Depending on the type of metal and its concentration, the concentrated sludge can be removed for disposal or earmarked for reclaiming.
