The problem with conventional methods:
- The waste water from the wet finishing processes of vibratory grinding units is often treated with expensive filtration units and centrifuges.
- Centrifuges are often marked by poor cleaning performance whilst most modern filtration systems do not adequately concentrate the waste water.
- This is particularly noticeable in its impact on the recycling costs of precious metals.
- A large footprint and high power consumption combined with inadequately filtered water are further disadvantages that have to be taken into account when using such systems.

The advantages of the MF series:
- Extremely efficient system filters out all solids ≥0.2µm, enabling the water/compound mixture to be recycled between the finishing unit and the microfiltration unit for several weeks.
- The concentrated sludge is collected in trays. This makes it easy to reclaim residual precious metals at all times.
- Major cost advantages due to relatively low capital investment, small footprint and low power requirement, as well as further savings through the recycling of compound.
- Reliable, quiet operation and very user-friendly.
