These media are used for the dry polishing of jewelry. Since their consistent geometry prevents blockages from forming, they are especially suitable for finishing hollow items, lobster clasps and curb chains. Highly recommended for silver jewelry.

Abrasive media can be divided into two main groups:

Plastic bonded:

Here the abrasive material is bonded in polyester resin.

  • Properties:
    Low density, soft basis material.
  • Area of application:
    Mainly for the grinding and polishing of non-ferrous metals.

Ceramic bonded:

Here the abrasive material is bonded in ceramic.

  • Properties:
    High density, hard basis material.
  • Area of application:
    Mainly for the grinding of steel alloys.
